Function

Plant that transports material from tunnelling of the Stockholm bypass and conveys it onward to boats.

Receiving hopper down in the rock receives crushed material from dumpers and then empties the hooper by means of a vibration feeder and conveys the material onward to a system of ten belt conveyors that take the material to a quay. A telescopic boat loader is located on the quay. Being able to telescope the boat loader prevents obstructions when boats arrive and depart, as well as with general shipping. When loading boats, the telescopic movement is also used to distribute the material in the boat’s hold.

The boat loader is serviced when it is in its innermost position.
